Maritime Festival 2026 – Reconnecting to Flax, The Artisan’s Approach

June 10, 2026
Location: The Branson, Rathlin Island

Times: 7pm

Tiernan will take us in search of the ‘lost feeling’ that guided medieval spinners to produce some of the finest linen ever known. Through practical activities, the artisan’s approach to understanding the core elements of flax spinning will be explored.

As part of Rathlin’s Maritime Festival
The workshops are for all ages – under 16 years accompanied by an adult.
